Open to all adults
A place to read Krishnamurti's work and to talk together about the questions he raised: how we perceive, how we live with one another, and the roots of the social and ecological crisis around us.
It is open to all adults, whatever their age, background or beliefs. It is an independent study center, run by Radiance Foundation and not part of any Krishnamurti Foundation. It is separate from the children's learning space.
You may be a student, working, raising a family or retired. Your life may feel settled, or you may still be finding your way. Whoever we are, some questions keep coming back.
Most people do not stay with these questions. Life is too busy, and there is always the next thing to chase. This space is for those who cannot set them aside: adults willing to look at themselves honestly, without ready-made answers, and without being told what to think or do.
There is no preaching and no belief imposed. We read, reflect, speak honestly, and listen without rushing to defend, correct or persuade. No conclusions or solutions are offered.
"Truth is a pathless land."
J. Krishnamurti, 1929. He meant that truth cannot be reached through any system, belief, guru or ideology. Each of us has to discover it directly.
5 to 7 pm
In English and Marathi
A session takes one of three forms.
You do not need to have read Krishnamurti before. Come with your questions.
Sessions are free and open to all adults.
The J. Krishnamurti Study Center is at our old location on Gangapur Road, with Krishnamurti's books, journals and more. Visitors can read and stay a while.
The Study Center also holds a picture exhibition conceived and created by Vikram Parchure. It pairs excerpts from Krishnamurti's teachings, drawn from more than 60 years of public talks, with documentary photographs taken by journalists from around the world.
The exhibition is laid out as thematic panels, each with an explanatory fact sheet. It was first made in English and has since been translated into other languages, including Marathi.
The Study Center and the exhibition are open during the Sunday session, 5 to 7 pm.

Come on any Sunday at 5 pm. If you have a question, write to us.
